This crisp ale is a twist on the Belgian classic, the Witt. The major difference being a change from wheat and oats to rice, and also switching from coriander and bitter orange peal to ginger and camomile. This is an excellent beer for pre-dinner snacks to fish based dishes and salads. Ideal for a sunny afternoon or when you want to imagine its sunny outside.

OTTO-Optimizer

After dinner, one no longer has to make the choice between a cup of coffee or a digestif. This beer combines the exotic spices of Turkish Coffee with the esoteric properties of a Belgian “porter.” Enjoy after dinner with nuts, dried fruit, Middle Eastern-style desserts and of course, chocolate. However, its wonderful at tea time as well, whenever that may be.

Terra-saurus

A beast of a brew. This dark, rich hearty ale is made with shiitake mushrooms, adding umami soaked earthiness unique to this beer. Brewed with a balanced blend of roasted barley and oats, the mouthfeel is truly narrative. Both complex and straight-forward, this ale is equally at home with a hearty fresh off the grill steak or a late night game of poker.

Simple Ale

The name is misleading. It is by Epic Ales standards simple. Only made with malted barley and hops. This fantastic session ale is at first glance a classic example of the northwest, rich, malty and very hoppy. Beneath the surface lies a panoramic flavor profile created by the unique yeast strain and the blend of malt used. Think Hawaiian pizza with rosemary and balsamic added, and you’re starting to get the picture.
